Clare Rojas is from Columbus, Ohio and has a BFA in printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design as well as an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in Painting. She now lives and works in San Francisco, California. She performs her folk music under the name Peggy Honeywell, and has participated in numerous film festivals for short collaborative animations. Clare has received the Tournasol Award, Flieshaker, Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant, and Joan Mitchell Foundation. She has had solo exhibitions at Deitch Projects, Rose Art Museum, Musac, Museum Het Doemien, and various group exhibitions around the world.
